"Estill Springs Elementary School Academic Team placed first overall at district academic competition. Here are the other placements for the school. Noah Williams - first place, arts and humanities; Hunter Walters - first place, mathematics; Noah Williams - third place, mathematics; Andrew Samples - fifth place, mathematics; Matt Rowland - fourth place science; Hunter Walters - fifth place, science; Matt Rowland - third place, social studies; Elizabeth Hardy - fourth place, social studies; Chase Wainscott - first place, language arts; Brooklyn Kelley - third place, language arts; Alexis Hall - second place, English composition; Chase Wainscott, Jonathan Ray Johnson, Elizabeth Hardy, and Andrew Samples - third place, future problem solving; and the team received second place in Quick Recall.

"We've had an excellent season. Our kids have worked really hard and I think they showed it with this accomplishment," Academic Team Coach Amanda Owens said."
