The Estill County Fiscal Court is based in the Estill County Courthouse at 130 Main Street, Irvine.
About the Fiscal Court
The Estill County Fiscal Court is currently comprised of 4 elected officials, the Estill County Judge-Executive, and 3 Magistrates. Prior to the 1975 judicial amendment, counties were administered by County Judges, which had somewhat different constitutional duties. See here for more information on Judges. Prior to the Fiscal Court Act of 1974, Magistrates were called Justices of the Peace.
