Trick or Treat Trot

From Estill County History

"The Estill County High School track was alive with all kinds of ghosts, goblins, witches and spooks Monday night as the Future Business Leaders of America presented “Trick or Treat Trot.”

The line stretched from the parking lot near the band room down to the football field as children dressed in all their Halloween finery waited for the opportunity to fill their bags with candy from the volunteers who set up booths to accommodate them.

FBLA leader Connie Witt, supervised the fun dressed in witch’s black. Students manned the club’s booth where buckets overflowed with all kinds of treats for the children. Churches, local organizations and other high school clubs participated." - From "Citizen Voice & Times," November 3, 2011.
